I’m an editor and journalist who is passionate about exploring the impact art and design have on our politics, economies, and civil societies.
As deputy Ideas editor at Quartz, I commissioned and edited contributed content for Quartz Ideas and Quartz At Work. Weekly articles included reported features as well as think pieces by leaders at the forefront of emerging technology, aerospace, climate policy, food security, mental health, geopolitics, and more, bringing readers an informed view of the future global economy.
Previously, I created, commissioned, and edited multimedia content for an opinions blog with The Washington Post. I wrote about the contemporary art world in Cairo and New York for several years,, with study in Turkey, China, India, and the UK.
I received a Master of Science in Journalism at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where I focused on narrative video and audio storytelling, feature writing, multimedia editing, and producing.
